6 weeks and counting...

I have 6 weeks left and my house is complete chaos. I realized that I had in fact created a very peaceful existence and this move has turned that upside down. It's a mixture of being overwhelmed and exhaustion with the excitement of new. I have my moments of total joy about the whole thing but they are outnumbered right now with the preparations. All the people that have offered encouragement has been life saving, and it really has kept me going. So here is my visual version of the problem solving...

Still in Shell Beach

This begins my time in Italy. It's been a long journey and I haven't even left the house yet!

This all started around September 2008 when I pulled out the old research on schools and begun again. Initially Charlie was going with me but like most of life, things changed.

I'm now on the 2 month away from leaving and have an insane amount to do before I leave. It's melancholy each day now, fully appreciated and I've just begun saying good bye.

So for now I will leave this blog and pick up maybe right before I leave. I'll consider this posting a trial run.
